Vacilon rum
The brand Vacilon rum has existed for over 60 years.
In the 1950s during the pre-revolutionary period, the vacilon was the favorite brand of Cubans. Its name also means "party" or "facetia".
After stopping production following the American embargo, it resumed in 2015 and launched in export.
THE Vacilon rum is an agricultural rum produced by the distillery Heribero Duquesne Located in the historic city of Remedios in Santa Clara.
Using still artisanal techniques, fresh cane juice is in hand and comes from Cuban cane fields.
The Lino Lino Lino Pérez Rodriguez distiller also develops versions of 18 and 25 years which are also aged in American oak barrels.
