Collection: CANEY RUM

Why choose Caney rum?

Caney Rum is produced from sugarcane molasses that is grown in the fertile southern fields of Cuba, around the beautiful mountainous Sierra de Maestra and distilled in the ancient, yet vibrant city of Santiago de Cuba - the heart and soul of Cuba's musical and cultural soul, where distinctive light and tropical rums were invented.
The distillery, with a long history, overlooks the bay of Santiago and produces only the finest rums. Caney rum is carefully produced with spring water.
It is matured in unique climatic conditions, in selected oak barrels before being assembled by cellar masters, some of whom have worked at the distillery since before the revolution. All this gives Caney rum its unique properties, flavors and nose.
Ron CANEY is named after the cone-shaped houses built by the campesinos (peasants) of Cuba, small farmers.
Produced just after the revolution, Caney rum was initially only launched on the Cuban market and in Latin America, where it sold largely.
