Caney rum
Rhum Caney is produced from the melasse of sugar cane which is cultivated in the south, fertile fields of Cuba, around the beautiful mountainous sierra of Maestra and distilled in the ancient city, but vibrant of Santiago de Cuba -The heart And the soul of Cuba's music and cultural achievement, where distinctive light and tropical rums have been invented.
The distillery, with a long history, overlooks the bay of Santiago and only produces the finest rums. Rhum Caney is carefully produced with spring water.
It is matured in unique climatic conditions, in the barrels of oak chosen before being assembled by the cellar masters, some of whom have worked at the distillery since before the revolution. All this gives the Caney rum its unique properties, flavors and noses.
Ron Caney is baptized by the names of the cone -shaped houses built by Campesinos (landscapes) of Cuba, small farmers.
Produced just after the revolution, the Caney rum at the start was only launched on the Cuban market and in Latin America, where it was largely sold.
