CUBAN COCKTAILS

President

Ingredients

  • ½ ounce of red vermouth,
  • 1 ½ ounces Cubay Carta Blanca Mulata Silver Dry Rum
  • Drops liqueur with Cubay Grenadine flavor.  
  • Ice cube pieces
  • 1 cherry
  • Orange peel

Preparation

All ingredients must be mixed in a glass of composition. To serve the drink, we use a cocktail glass decorated and flavored with orange peel and cherry.

Result:

PINOS ISLAND (Isla de Pinos)

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces Havana Club Añejo Blanco rum
  • 1 ½ ounces grapefruit juice
  • 1 teaspoon of grenadine
  • Ice cubes

Preparation

In the shaker, mix all the ingredients and serve in an 8 oz glass.

MULATA

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 oz Mulata siver dry rum
  • 1 oz mulata cocoa liqueur
  • ice cube hit

Preparation

Mix the sugar in the lemon juice, add the rum Carta Blanca Blanca, the Cocoa Cubay liqueur and ice cream. It is beaten and a cocktail glass is used to serve the drink.

Havana Special (Havana Special)

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces Havana Club Añejo Blanco rum
  • 1 ½ ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 teaspoon of Marrasquino
  • Ice cube pieces
  • 1 slice of pineapple

Preparation

In the shaker, mix the pineapple juice, Havana Club Añejo Blanco, maraschino and ice cream. Mix by hand and serve strained in a cocktail glass. Decorate with the pineapple slice.

MOJITO

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz of Mulata silver Dry rum, Varadero silver dry rum, Kawama silver dry rum, Cubay Carta Blanca rum among other Cuban carta blanca rums.
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar
  • Juice ½ lemon
  • Soda
  • Leaves of “Hierba buena”
  • Ice cubes

Preparation

Use a rocks glass and dilute the sugar in lemon juice and a little sparkling water.

Crush the stem of the peppermint without damaging the leaves to release the juice and add them.

Add the ice cubes and Cubay Carta Blanca rum and fill the glass with soda. Mix and decorate with hierba buena leaves.

FREE CUBA:

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces Mulata Silver dry Rum or Cubay carta blanca Rum
  • Ice cubes
  • Refreshing cola
  • A few drops of lemon
  • 1 slice of lemon

Preparation

Use a highball glass and mix the Cubay Carta Blanca, lemon drops, cola and ice cubes. Stir and decorate with the lemon slice.

Strawberry Daiquiri (Daiquirí Fresa)

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Mulata Silver Dry Rum or Cubay Carta Blanca
  • 1 oz Cubay Triple Sec alcoholic beverage
  • 1 ounce of lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar
  • 5 strawberries
  • 5 ice cube

Preparation

Use a blender to combine the sugar, lemon juice, Cubay Triple Sec liqueur, Carta Blanca or Mulata Silver Dry, strawberries and ice.

Beat until velvety and serve in a frosted glass with sugar.

Cubanito

Ingredients

  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of English sauce
  • 1 ice cube
  • Salt
  • 1 ½ ounces Santiago de Cuba Carta Blanca rum
  • 5 ounces Del Real tomato juice
  • 1 slice of lemon

Preparation

Use a 10 ounce glass and pour in the lemon juice, English sauce, ice, salt to taste, Carta Blanca rum and Del Real tomato. Stir and decorate with the lemon slice.

Note: English sauce is prepared by beating 1 egg with 6 tablespoons of milk, 6 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 10 gr. butter, 1 tablespoon mustard, salt and pepper to taste. The preparation is cooked in a saucepan in a bain-marie and stirred until a thick and foamy cream is obtained.

Pina colada (Piña colada)

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces Havana Club Añejo Blanco rum or Mulata silver dry rum
  • 1 ounce of coconut cream
  • 2 ounces of pineapple juice
  • Ice cube hit

Preparation

Use a blender to combine the coconut cream, pineapple juice, Havana Club Añejo Blanco or Mulata Silver Dry Rum and ice cubes, Beat well before  serving in a glass or cocktail glass.
